Using this website
Everything on this site — the writing, the photos, the design — belongs to us or the people who made it for us. You're welcome to read it, share links to it and print a page to wave at your mate. You're not welcome to copy it wholesale, scrape it, or use our name and logo to make yourself look affiliated with us.
We try to keep prices and information current, but the number on your written quote always beats the number on a web page. Cars differ, and web pages are not contracts.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a job we do fails to meet a consumer guarantee — it isn't done with due care and skill, or parts aren't fit for purpose — you're entitled to a remedy. In plain terms: if we mess up, we fix it, and if we can't fix it we make it right. The refunds page explains how claims actually work.
GDPR — visitors from the EU and UK
We're an Australian workshop and our customers are almost all in Queensland, but if you're browsing from the European Union or the UK, the GDPR applies to how we handle your data. Here's the short version of what that means for you:
- We only collect what you give us through the contact form or the cookies described on the cookie page — name, contact details, and basic usage data.
- The lawful basis is your consent (you sent the form) and our legitimate interest (running a workshop and answering enquiries).
- Your data is stored in Australia. By sending us a message you consent to it being processed here.
- You can ask for access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your data, and you can object to processing — email speedtuningshop@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
- You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
