"From" means a typical modern turbo car with no rust fights or broken studs. Old cars and rare cars get quoted after a look — still fixed, still before we start.

The car itself
A bolt-on exhaust for a Golf is a different job to a custom one for a '94 Supra. Parts availability, rust, and how much disassembly is involved all change the labour.
Parts grade
There's a real spread between budget parts, proven mid-range gear and the fancy stuff. We spec mid-range unless you've got a reason to go up or down — and we price both ways.
